The Department of Pediatric Dentistry is responsible for teaching dental students the fundamentals of oral health care for children. As part of the educational effort, total patient care is provided to the normal and disabled child including care in the hospital setting. Programs are conducted at the predoctoral and postdoctoral levels. The department's faculty is involved in didactic, preclinical, clinical, continuing education, research and extramural teaching activities.
